I'm New
When you enter Folsom Elementary School, you'll notice it looks and feels like a church! Walk right up to the Information Booth - you'll see the banner - and ask any questions you have about St. Paul's or the worshp service.
Everything you’ll need to actively participate in Worship is included in the bulletin which the Worship Greeter will give you as you enter. St. Paul's is an Episcopal Church, so our worship service is directly from the Book of Common Prayer. The music at St. Paul's is a mix of familiar and beloved hymns and fresh praise music. You don't need to sing if you don't want to, but don't be surprised if you feel like joining your voice in praise!
We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, and all baptized people (of any age) are invited to receive Communion. Unbaptized persons, or those who simply do not wish to receive Communion, are invited to receive a blessing instead. Taking Communion is really pretty easy - simply follow the instructions of the Worship Greeters and you'll be in good hands.
Children are an important part of life at St. Paul's. Your children are welcome to stay with you during Worship; or they may participate in Children’s Worship, which is recommended for mature 3 year olds through 5th grade. Please drop off your child just before the 10:00 am worship service, and your child will rejoin you for Holy Communion accompanied by our Children’s Ministry team.
For infants through age 3, we have a nursery with an experienced staff. Christian education (which we call Grow) is an essential part of our nursery, so you can expect even the youngest will Worship!
Both Children’s Worship and the Nursery are located across the hall from Worship. Just look for the “Children” or “Nursery” banners.
Youth attend Worship with their parents. We have a youth program which meets regularly on Sunday after Worship for a meal, fellowship, and Bible study. For more information about this program, contact Alicia King at 3kings@cebridge.net.
Please sign the guest register as it is passed down your row so we can keep you in the loop. We hope this service is a blessing to you, and we hope to see you again soon.
